Please enjoy our dog park. This area is designated for off-leash dog play. Use at your own risk. Anyone not adhering to the following rules will be subject to removal from the park.
- Owners must clean up after pets and properly dispose of waste.
- Pets exhibiting aggressive behavior or creating a nuisance must be immediately removed.
- Children under age 6 are not allowed. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- All dogs must have current rabies vaccinations and County licenses and be wearing their tags while in the park.
- Dogs in heat, ill, or having excessive fleas, ticks, or other internal or external parasites are not allowed.
- All dogs must be accompanied at all times by an adult human owner or handler.
- There shall be no more than 3 dogs per owner or handler per visit.
- Puppies under 4 months old are not allowed.
- If a dog digs, the dog must be stopped immediately and the owner/handler must fill the hole.
- No rollerblades, skateboards, or bicycles are allowed in the dog park.
- Do not leave gates open at any time.
- The park is open from 6am to 11pm daily.
Any concerns regarding adherence to rules, animal neglect, or abuse should be immediately directed to Monroe County Animal Control – 294-4857 or 304-5964.
Any reports of damage to property should be directed to Monroe County Public Works – 292-4431.
